In-House Patterns Studio Facebook Community Rules

This FREE Facebook community is a place to come together to share insights, tips, questions, answers and most importantly support for one another in their exploration of all things regarding apparel pattern making.

Alexandra Morgan is the creator of this group and Owner of In-House Patterns and In-House Patterns Studio.

THE RULES:

In order to maintain a a positive and supportive environment, members agree to the following:

1. NO SELF PROMOTION*

No self-promotion is allowed unless an opportunity to do so is explicitly stated. This group is here to support you in your exploration of the pattern making process, so no pitching allowed.

The definition of self-promotion is this:

• selling anything - that means anything
• posting a link to your OWN website
• posting affiliate links... that's just wrong
• posting your own content in the group and not in a specific (and relevant) thread. This includes posting links to surveys or creating surveys in the group, posting photos with your social handles, URLs or business name on them AND posting "free" offers
• posting full blog post content, or a post that is a length of a blog post, even without a link.

2. NO POSTING OF VIDEOS*

Do not post videos of yourself or use Facebook Live in this group.

You are welcome to post photos of your progress and challenges but you can imagine how overwhelming it could be if there were multiple people doing video and live feeds every day.

*These rules do not apply to Alexandra Morgan of In-House Patterns and In-House Patterns Studio.  This right is reserved for the owner and creator of this group and community.  Alexandra will promote certain content and create videos inside the group if she feels it will benefit the members in the group.

3. BE POLITE AND RESPECTFUL

That means respecting people’s feelings, privacy and rights to their work.

If you're rude, disrespectful or spammy...you will be banned from the group. No second chances so keep yourself in check.

4. BE HELPFUL

Provide genuine and helpful feedback and suggestions to others. Ask questions and give answers. We are all here to help each other...so give more than you take, please.

If you don't agree with ALL of these rules, kindly remove yourself from the group.
